CIG Announcement
Friends,
Thank you for thinking about new and exciting ways to make Richmond a great place for children and families!
This year, Robins will be taking a different approach with the Community Innovation Grant (CIG) grant application and process. There will not be a 2017 CIG cycle. Instead, we will focus our board and staff capacity towards the amazing projects and issues presented by the winners and finalists of the 2014, ’15 and ‘16 CIG competitions. The proposals funded over the past three years are undeniable game changers – and they need and deserve more to get to the next level of community transformation. We believe true partnership means linking arms and collaborating more deeply on the barriers to success, together. Our efforts will sharpen focus and provide additional support to ensure these CIG grantees receive the resources required to affect significant change on the critical issues plaguing our community.
We will take the time to evaluate the impact of our partners to help determine next steps for our process and how to best prepare for CIG 2018. We are open to feedback about the future and look forward to hearing your big ideas to solve big problems. Keep us posted; and let’s keep the dialogue open.
We can’t wait to learn new ways we can tackle community concerns together. We’ll see you and CIG in 2018!
