It’s Baaaaaaack!
We are in the final planning stages to launch our third annual Lora M. And E. Claiborne Robins Community Innovation Grant.
$500,000 is on the line for the winning proposal!
Got a big idea? Think you can solve one of Richmond’s most pressing challenges with your big idea? Have a bunch of friends from other organizations willing to collaborate with you and your organization on your big idea? If you answered YES and your team is inspired and committed to make it happen, please consider applying for this year’s grant. Vision and innovation have helped define the Robins Foundation for generations. In December 2016, the Robins Foundation will award one(1) half-million dollar ($500,000) grant to a 501(c)(3) non-profit in Metropolitan Richmond that brings to life an innovative idea that will transform how we live, work, play and relate for a generation and beyond.
This once-a-year investment addresses a community issue. Successful proposals will celebrate the imaginative, cooperative spirit of Greater Richmond. Successful proposals will also demonstrate an out-of-the box, unique approach to solving the community issue, strategic collaboration and the potential for wider impact. The grant application opens August 1 and the deadline is September 1 @ 5pm. The winning application will be chosen December 2016 through an exhilarating, intense and fun process of presentations to Robins staff and board of directors this fall. We can’t wait to read yours!
